budapest--the train before coming to prague, i had determined that if i had a chance to take a non-school-related trip, i wanted to go to budapest. i'm not sure why. i think i originally wanted to go to bucharest (capital of romania) because it sounds like such a ridiculous place to go...but americans need a visa to go there. so i settled for budapest because they sort of rhyme and it sounds almost as ridiculous. budapest, as we came to realize, was pretty ridiculous. we had a 4 person couchette on the train there. it was cute.
